Welding innovations at Rusweld 2022

Rusweld 2022, the International Exhibition for Welding and Cutting Equipment, Technologies and Materials, opened at EXPOCENTRE Fairgrounds within Russian Industry Week 2022. The show is organised by EXPOCENTRE AO with the support of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Russian State Duma Committee on Science and Higher Education, and NAKS – the National Agency of Welding Control, and under the auspices of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Rusweld 2022 has become a platform for demonstrating technical and technological innovations and promoting the products of Russian manufacturers of welding equipment and materials. This year, more than 60 companies are presenting their developments on an area of more than 1,500 square metres.

At the opening ceremony, Sergey Selivanov, First Deputy Director General of EXPOCENTRE, stressed that in the current difficult economic conditions Rusweld had managed not only to maintain last year's figures, but also to expand the showcase. The floor space has increased by 40% this year.

Nikolay Alyeshin, President of NAKS – the National Agency of Welding Control and Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, noted that the Russian welding industry was developing and did not depend on sanctions. He wished every success to the participants and congratulated industry professionals, designers, and creators of new technologies that Russian welding is alive, will live and strengthen. 

Rusweld 2022 shows industrial robots, robotic welding stations and welding robots, the most advanced tools and devices for welding work, personal and collective protection equipment for welding and metal cutting. 

Participation in the show will allow companies to increase sales and expand their sales geography, demonstrate the operation of welding and cutting equipment at their stands, close deals and sign new profitable contracts, study competitors and their products, and get an immediate feedback to their developments.

The conference programme of Rusweld 2022 will be held with representatives of public authorities, line ministries, associations and leading experts who will provide up-to-date information on the development of the industry and its needs in the new environment.
