11 / 11 / 2022

Russian Industry Week 2022 took place at EXPOCENTRE Fairgrounds on 24–27 October 2022. It was held for the third time. This year, over 350 companies took part in the Week's events. The exhibition area totalled over 7,000 sq. m.

This year the Week included

  • Technoforum 2022, the International Exhibition for Equipment and Technology for Materials Processing
  • Rusweld 2022, the International Exhibition for Welding and Cutting Equipment, Technologies and Materials
  • Reklama 2022, the International Exhibition for Advertising
  • NDT Territory 2022, the International Exhibition and Forum on Non-Destructive Testing and Technical Diagnostics

Vladimir Kononov, Deputy Chair at the Russian State Duma Committee on Science and Higher Education, Chair at the VOIR – the All-Russian Society of Inventors and Rationalizers

“Russian Industry Week is a major event that brings together all stakeholders from manufacturers, researchers, investors and lawmakers. Such events not only acquaint visitors with innovations in science and technology, but also provide a forum for working out and making decisions: how to turn scientific innovation into a product, put it into production, and bring it to consumers, so that people's lives can become better. Such trade shows, where active, eager people come, be they industrialists or investors, are a very effective way of introducing scientific achievements.”

EXPOCENTRE pays special attention to promoting and demonstrating the latest scientific and technical developments and innovative technologies, as well as supporting Russian inventors and young researchers and promoting their developments in production. For example, five years ago EXPOCENTRE launched the NTI-Expo (Science, Technology, Innovation) project together with the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the relevant committee of the State Duma. NTI-Expo includes a whole range of events, including Russian Industry Week.

The VOIR – the All-Russian Society of Inventors and Rationalizers had its first stand at the Week, giving both exhibitors and visitors an opportunity to get direct access to the latest information on innovations and inventions.

Russian Industry Week 2022 hosted a signing ceremony of a trilateral agreement between the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, VOIR and EXPOCENTRE. The main purpose of the agreement is to assist in promoting Russian inventions and innovations in the production sector and to help companies participate in the largest trade show. The document was signed by Vice President at the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Maksim Fateev, Chair at the Central Council of VOIR Vladimir Kononov and Director General of EXPOCENTRE Alexey Vyalkin.
